Design and implementexperiments to screen for drugcandidates and to
addressmechanisms-of-action of therapeuticmolecules.
Performcomplexcell-basedfunctionalexperimentsindependently. Actas a
subjectmatterexpert (SME) for drugdiscoveryin the Cell therapy and
Immuno-Oncology/Immuno-Therapy. ACCOUNTABILITIES Provide broad
assay development support forearly-stage drug discovery projects in
disease areas of theCell therapy Design, execute, and validate a
variety of assays to understandmechanisms of action and
characterizeCAR T Collaborate with automation engineers to identify
suitable approaches to utilize laboratory automation for the
execution of variable cell-based assays. CAR Tgeneration
(transduction and expansion) and functional evaluation of CAR
expression, phenotyping, cytokine detection and killing potency in
vitro. Spend ~ 85% of time in the laboratory to maintain and
implementcellcell-basedassayplatform and performexperiments
Interface with project teams to meet timelines for project
progression Present research findings clearly and effectively at
internal and external meetings Troubleshoot complex problems in
creative and effective ways Ability to manage workflow to
deliverqualityresults in a timelymanner Troubleshoot
complexproblems in creative and effective ways and
activelyparticipates in innovation and/or optimization of
establishedprocesses to ensuredata relavence and quality Ability to
make data-driveninfluences onproject decision-making EDUCATION,
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Master's degree in
cellimmunology, protein/antibody science,and/or
>3yearsequivalentrelevant work experience with strong knowledge
of T/NK cellbiology, immuno-oncology, and cell therapy. Bachelor’s
degree with >6 yearsrelevantexperience. Tissue culture,
includingapplication of aseptic techniques for media compounding,
passaging, maintenance, and cryopreservation of cellcultures.
Experience with immune cell (T/NK cells) isolation, culture, and
engineering. Proficiency in immune cellphenotyping
(surface/intracellular), cytokinedetection (multi-color flow
cytometry, Luminex, MSD), cytotoxicityassay (short or long
termkilling), internalizationassay and High content imaging (Opera
Phenix) or otherfunctionalassays. Proficient in data generation
(Prism, Excel), presentation, and troubleshooting. Experience with
viral delivery methodsis a plus. Knowledgeable and experienced in
cellbiology and antibodycharacterization Experience in
troubleshooting,assayoptimization and data quality controlis a plus
Skilled in data analysis, interpretation, and data reporting

Base Salary Range: $99,500.00 - $156,420.00 The estimated salary
range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual
base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including
the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position,
years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of
education attained, certifications or other professional licenses
held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from
which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary
offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage
requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be
eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based
