In this role, you'll take complete control of hiring, training, and developing a successful sales team who are responsible for outside direct sales in a geographic area. Your leadership skills will be absolutely vital to your entire team's success as your income and theirs will depend on your team productivity. Your creation and monitoring of overall sales plans for your geographic area will enable your sales team to drive success against sales goals through the teams of Account Executives.Job Responsibilities:

  • Independently generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling and networking.
  • Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services.
  • Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Create and implement key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards.
  • Coordinate and run frequent sales meetings.
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Sales Managers. Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
  • Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Work Experience:
  • More than 10 years Outside sales experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment ()
  • 2-4 years People management responsibilities ()
  • Less than 2 years Telecommunications / technical sales ()
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Coaching Exceptional coaching skills ()
  • Presentations Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one-on-one ()
  • Business Sales A proven track record of high-yield business sales success ()
  • Negotiation Well-honed negotiation skills ()
  • Recruiting Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes in order to attract and retain top sales talent
