Job Description:

for Field Technician positions with a global company that produces
the most efficient boiler system solutions in the world.
Position Details
Location: Central Connecticut remote - no office location; services
CT, MA, ME, & NH
Compensation: $33-$34/hr + Commission is available for products
sales during service calls.
Shift: M-F, typically 8a-5p but the 8 hours can adjust if needed
for service calls. An estimated 10-15 hours of OT can be expected
per pay period.
Travel: local travel up to 5 hours from base location. Limited
overnight travel (potentially 2x per year). Potential week-long
training in New Jersey for new hire training.

Position Description
As a Field Technician, your purpose will be to service, inspect,
and repair boilers for customers. You will act as a customer
service technician for company representatives and customers for
the Maintenance Department which will include scheduling boiler
start-ups and inspections, maintenance and management of parts
inventory, and providing excellent customer service to build
customer trust. Additional duties include performing and reporting
the results of water analysis at customer sites, troubleshooting
and repairing boiler room equipment, creating proposals for
customer site improvements, managing installation projects of
boiler and water treatment equipment, and using all water
management/maintenance/inspection reports.
Position Requirements
--- High school diploma/GED.
--- Technical background with mechanical and electrical experience.
Engineering degree preferred.
--- Proficiency at creating reports using Microsoft Office or an
equivalent.
--- Strong communication skills and ability to lead
presentations.
--- Valid automobile driving license.
--- There are physical demands of this job which require climbing,
kneeling, crawling, driving, lifting up to 50lbs, and more.
