Sustainment Engineering (ASE), located in East Hartford
Connecticut, is looking for a software/methods engineer with a love
for web development. The methods team is responsible for the
development, deployment, and support of game-changing
repair/maintenance software which includes the automation of both
technical and business processes that will enable Pratt & Whitney
to continually push the state of the art in gas turbine engine
repairs and reduce the cost of maintaining our parts, components,
and engines.Key Responsibilities:+ Learn and understand the needs
of the engineering organization and translate those needs into
clear software requirements which will drive the design,
development, and testing of high-quality software for the
engineering organization+ Collaborate with other team members and
stakeholders+ Setup scalable server infrastructure and databases in
the AWS cloud environment+ Develop new user-centric pages,
components, and apps+ Ensure feasibility and excellent user
experience+ Opportunity for full stack development and being
involved in all stages of the software development processBasic
Qualifications:+ BA/BS degree in Engineering, Software Engineering
or Computer Science+ 5 years' experience required OR MA/MS degree
in Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science with 3
years' experience+ 1+ year of experience in ANY of the following:
Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Java+ US citizenship is
required due to government program requirementsPreferred
Qualifications:+ Cloud experience, especially deploying on AWS
(Amazon Web Services)+ Experience with JS Frameworks such as React
and Vue+ Experience with ORMs such as SQLAlchemy and Sequelize+
Strong developer who is comfortable learning new languages,
libraries, and frameworks+ Experience working in an agile
environment+ Good communication skills and working as a team
player+ Possesses excellent business judgement and professional
maturity+ Creative problem solverWhat is my role type?In addition

This role is:Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will
work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that
responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a
regular basis.Candidates will learn more about role type and
current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite
and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the
employee's personal responsibility.The salary range for this role
is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies
considers several factors when extending an offer, including but
not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a
candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
