application developer to join our Digital Technology (DT) Digital
Manufacturing Applications team. This individual will be involved
in the delivery of designing, developing, enhancing, and
implementing software solutions within Pratt & Whitney's enterprise
Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions, as well as
integrations with other enterprise products for our internal
Operations customers. This role will support the troubleshooting of
problems related to PW's MES, resolving systems integration and
compatibility issues, and supporting the application life cycle
Center of Excellence. The position is based remotely and due to
customer locations in different time zones, customer meetings can
occur outside normal business work hours. Career growth

within the organization being on the front lines of developing
technology. The Digital Manufacturing team at Pratt and Whitney is
looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who will be excited in
delivering digital solutions within our MES & MOM enterprise
platform as it relates to supporting our manufacturing sites,
engine centers, and aftermarket operations worldwide. Specific
focus includes the development of enhancements to our MES systems,
and troubleshooting production and preproduction system changes.
Current strategic activities include engaging with; long-term
roadmaps for MES, deploying next-gen solutions, new site
implementations, and integrating with new technologies for IIOT and
Industry 4.0. Specific responsibilities will include but are not
limited to:Translating internal requirements into a solution
designTechnical and functional problem solvingProduction and end
user support, where applicableSupporting integration with other
enterprise solutionsWorking with internal/external teams and
business partners, to architect and build system solutions for
using the latest technologies to satisfy requirementsWork on
multiple projects simultaneously with regular reporting in a gated
processExcellent communication skills with both technical and
non-technical audiencesAuthor system requirements, technical design
documentationTechnical skills of SQL productsTechnical skills
working with Java and React jsTechnical skills with
DockerUnderstanding of code repositories and working in development
cyclesEnsuring compliance with RTX / PW policies & proceduresBasic
Qualifications:1-3+ years of relevant experience in design and
development of data systems (SQL Server based on Cloud/on premise
and Analytics) at enterprise scale1-3+ years of relevant experience
developing in Java and React jsPrimary technical expertise in SQL
Server, Azure SQL Database1-3+ years' experience in Computer
Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or related fieldBS degree with
8+ years of experience OR advanced degree with 5+ years of
experience.US Citizenship required due to government
contractsPreferred Qualifications:Microsoft Certifications in SQL
Server, Azure SQL database and/or related technologiesExperience in
Data Visualization tools like Power BI, SSRS, or equivalentMust be
hands on, deeply technical and exposure to latest features within
SQL Server, able to do both Azure administration and know
KubernetesTeam player with strong follow up skills and ability to
craft positive relationshipsDetail oriented, analytical, and able
to trace problemsStrong communication skillsRelishes orchestrating
and organizing initiatives and processesExcellent judgment and
professional business maturityStrong working knowledge Microsoft

is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies
considers several factors when extending an offer, including but
