This role is:Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.The candidate will assist the GATORWORKS Quality Manager with maintaining a rapid prototyping supplier base that produces hardware, at accelerated lead times, appropriate for technical risk reduction and demonstration. The position will be required to work closely with Engineering, Program Management, Procurement, and Core Quality to ensure compliance to existing processes. The candidate will lead and support activities to engage internal organizations and internal and external producers to high levels of quality performance related to product development, certification, and production.Responsibilities include:Support the implementation of GATORWORKS phase 3.0 by developing and implementing relevant processes to enable rapid procurement for product and non-product material with external customersSupport the GATORWORKS Quality Manager with ensuring compliance to GATORWORKS QMSWork with GATORWORKS team members and other P disciplines to draft, ballot, and publish GATORWORKS proceduresWork with Military Development Programs Procurement, Operations and CIPTs to define the quality control plan and inspection requirements for internally or externally produced hardwareIncorporate supply chain & quality historical data and lessons learned into preliminary designs and sourcing decisionsValidate KPCs and provide input to Process and Design Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (PFMEA and DFMEA), risk mitigation plans, quality processes and continuous improvementIdentify program risk including quality, technical, product cost, producability, schedule, and validationEnsure effective Engineering Escape RCCA, and effective Mfg Escape RCCA; tracking and resolution as needed; Quality Assurance Data (QAD) requirements planning and tracking, PPAP planning and trackingValidate supplier quality readiness, monitor quality performance, identify risks and ensure risk mitigation plans are established and implementedMonitor quality performance data, risk mitigation plans, publish quality metrics, and provide periodic assessments to program quality targetsProvide input and support the CIPT on targets for product safety, performance, quality/manufacturability, reliability, and service lifeTravel may be up to 10% domestically to West Palm Beach, FL facilityBasic Qualifications:Bachelor s Degree in Engineering equivalent experience and minimum 8 years' experience prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience5+ years of quality assurance, supplier management, manufacturing operations, and/or engineering experienceU.
