Are you ready to go beyond? As a HSE ESTO deputy, the candidate will provide leadership to the Hot Section ESTO organization across commercial and military programs. The role requires day to day leadership of an engineering team, alignment, and communication with external customers (procurement, quality, operations), team strategy development and execution. You will be responsible to ESTO, Module Center, and Engineering leadership. You will report directly the HSE ESTO manager and function as Deputy to the HSE ESTO Manager. Key Responsibilities: * Collaborating with HSE ESTO Manager to develop and execute organizational plans * Present status and issues to all levels within the company * Collaborate with the Module Center CIPT leadership and Program Management Office to manage the budgets and ensure milestones are met * Organize and providing direction to responsible employees that report to supporting organizations * Ensure HSE ESTO metrics are met and identify closure plans for gaps * Leads the engineering teams on large scale/high impact quality escapes * Work with part producers and suppliers, in collaboration with Module Center and Global Supply Chain, to address producibility issues in a timely manner and support engine/module and critical spares deliveries. * Support employee satisfaction and development opportunities Basic Qualifications: * BS Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or Physics * 10+ years of technical Engineering experience or 7+ years with an advance degree in Engineering * US Citizenship is required due to government contracts * Less than 10% travel Preferred Qualifications: * An MBA * Experience in an IPT Leader role or similar position * Aerospace/ jet engine industry experience * Demonstrated strong team leadership and strategic leadership skills * Highly motivated, self-starter * Demonstrated exceptional customer focus * Analytical skills * Ability to craft clear communication and develop meaningful relationships across organizations Raytheon Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
