We are looking for talented and passionate engineers to join our
Compression Systems Engineering team.
Provide technical & analytical support for structures on
commercial fan modules, with responsibility for the durability and
structural integrity of engine components. Specific structural
engineering specialties may include static and dynamic stress
analysis of airfoils, rotors, and cases, and fatigue and fracture
Analyses may include both classical methods and detailed
Provide analytical results and technical solutions from
preliminary design through engine development, validation,
certification, manufacturing and operational service
Participate on multi-discipline teams to provide design
solutions that balance customer requirements for durability,
performance, cost and weight; and plan and cover validation testing
(engine & rig) and data-reduction.
Support production and in-service field investigations.
- Coordinate with others to advance the technology and improve
engineering standard work processes/methods, plus document and
present results to management and external customers.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or
equivalent experience and 5+ years of prior relevant engineering
Advanced Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace or related field and
3+ years prior relevant engineering experience.
