As the CTSC Engineering Intern, the incumbent will report directly to the CTRP Engineering Manager and have project responsibilities for CTRP business unit or at the East Hartford Repair Operations (EHRO) site level. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a project/s that will help align our tactical and strategic direction of the engineering department. A project may include, but are not limited to:Improving current process of responding to, preparing, and submitting bid packages.Develop project management plan and business case for large machining equipment.Writing process plans for new upcoming repairs.Helping to develop standardized engineering practices, processes, tools and methods across all products.Working projects that lead Continuous Improvement (ACE) business progress, lean manufacturing, project management, quality improvement efforts.Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in an applicable field of study (Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field)Have a GPA of 3.0 or higherMust be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holderHow about any of these Preferred Qualifications?Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiativeA passion for learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospaceCreative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challengesEager to learn new things, contribute a fresh perspective, and share your knowledge with othersRaytheon Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
