Job Description:

Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A OTR (Over-the-Road) Owner Operator to join our ambitious team dedicated to ensuring safety, environmental health, and efficient operations. As a critical part of our transportation division, you will be responsible for managing your own business on the road, while upholding the compliance and safety standards that define our company's legacy in environmental and industrial services across North America. This role involves extensive travel across various routes, ensuring the timely and secure delivery of goods, while also maintaining the highest standards of safety and sustainability. Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste while operating a Class A vehicle. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules compliantly and efficiently. Manage loading and unloading of goods, ensuring secure transport. Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, reporting maintenance needs. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods). Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to ensure timely operations. Strong driving skills and familiarity with long haul requirements. Ability to manage schedules and routes efficiently. In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Excellent physical condition and stamina needed for long duration drives. Problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail. Medical Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Clean driving record DOT medical card HAZMAT Endorsement preferred
