our mission. Senior Financial Analyst Provide financial analysis
and forecasting for Zephyr products within the Atlassian
Marketplace. Develop data-driven insights to support strategic
investment decisions, pricing changes, and retention improvement to
accelerate growth. Partner with GTM, product, and engineering to
optimize financial performance. Product Intro Zephyr is SmartBear’s
market-leading test management solution natively integrated into
the Atlassian ecosystem. Used by thousands of Agile teams globally,
Zephyr enables planning, tracking, and reporting on testing
directly inside Jira. It is one of the top-grossing and most widely
adopted test management apps on the Atlassian Marketplace.
Supporting Zephyr means contributing to a flagship product with
significant recurring revenue, strong market presence, and
continuous innovation. About the Role As part of the Finance team,
the Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with Product
Management, Sales, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and
Customer Success teams to optimize the performance of our Atlassian
Products thru data driven analysis. Maintain and enhance financial
models to support billing forecasting, ARR growth targets, and
long-term planning for the Zephyr product portfolio. Analyze
product performance, pricing trends, and marketplace dynamics to
guide decision-making across Finance, GTM, and Product teams. Own
and improve financial reporting packages, dashboards, and KPIs
specific to Atlassian Marketplace operations. Work closely with
Sales and key channel partners to remove the friction from the
Sales process. Provide data driven insights to drive more
successful outcomes, including dual license extensions, deal volume
insights, standardize overall operational mechanics, and analyze
renewals pool dynamics. Partner with Marketing to understand the
core funnel metrics, the buying journey and the key indicators to
lead to the purchase decision. Collaborate closely with Product
Management to assess new feature investments, product packaging
scenarios, and ROI analyses. Partner with Atlassian’s Marketplace
team to identify data quality issues, improve visibility (eg
quote), and understand how Atlassian’ billing engine impacts our
revenue mix (grace period, transaction type etc). Partner with
Customer Success and Sales to understand product usage trends and
identify potential customer churn risks. Identify opportunities to
improve financial processes, automation, and data integrity. We are
looking for you if you have: 5 years of experience in financial
analysis, ideally within SaaS or marketplace-based business models.
Strong modeling and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in
Excel and financial systems. Experience working with billing and
ARR forecasting and subscription metrics. Ability to interpret
complex data and communicate insights clearly to senior leaders.
Experience partnering cross-functionally with GTM, Product, and
Engineering teams. Knowledge of Atlassian Marketplace metrics or
other e-commerce SaaS product financials is a plus. Why you should

range for this role is listed below . Actual compensation is
determined based on several factors, including relevant experience,
skills, internal equity, and geographic location. Estimated Base
Salary Range $90,000 - $110,000 USD
