Title: Java Cloud with Snowflake
Type: Contract
Location: Boston, MA
Requirements:

• 5+ years of strong software development experience with expertise in Java 8 and above, including knowledge of Java 9 features.
  
• Experience with developing high-performance, scalable enterprise applications on cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  
• Experience with Snowflake data platform.
  
• Strong skills in writing high-quality code with full automated unit testing (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
  
• Experience with Microservices architecture, 12-factor methodology, and automated integration testing.
  
• Experience in API management and tools like Swagger.
  
• Ability to apply design standards, patterns, and quality metrics.
  
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and build systems (Ant, Maven, Gradle).
  
• Experience with data platforms (relational and NoSQL) and messaging technologies.
  
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
  
• Working knowledge of UNIX commands and scripting.
  
• Willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Client-facing experience and ability to work well with distributed teams.
  
  Nice to Have:
  
  
• Experience in front-end development technologies.
  
• Experience creating high-performing applications with profiling and tuning.
  
• Knowledge of security or integration frameworks.
  
• Experience in DevOps practices.
  
• Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies.
  
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
