IT Manager (Manager of Technology - No Team Management) Join First Transit now as an IT Manager! The selected Manager will be responsible for all information technology and communication functions and equipment provided by the client. You will provide support for desktop and in-vehicle systems including being the Trapeze Expert. • Monitors all equipment and troubleshoots areas of concern when required
• Serves as a liaison to IT vendors and the Client
• Maintains security, functionality, data integrity, and recommends application improvements and performance testing
• Technical support for computer problems and issues
• Maintain, install, and monitor computer network and equipment
• Back up network data
• Install and test hardware and software
• Train users in procedures related to network application software or related systems
• Assist the District/ Client and the Contractor in using Trapeze platforms as well as installing and testing updates and/or upgrades
• Create custom user reports in Trapeze as requested
• Other duties assigned To be an IT Manager, you will need:
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Management, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, or other related area preferred
  • Be proficient and have experience with Trapeze and Stratagen software, required
  • Strong technical knowledge of network and server operating systems.
  • Minimum of three years or more experience supporting applications, network, servers, and desktops for a property/ operation of similar size and scope
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning, development, and operations
  • Highly self motivated and self directed
  • Keen attention to detail
