Job Description Job Description TEKsystems is hiring several
Patient Service Representatives to work for a client based in
Smithtown, NY. These positions would take place ON SITE in a
healthcare environment. These positions would offer the opportunity
to work for one of the largest health care networks on Long Island.
These positions will interview right away and will start as soon as
a new hire is available. We are seeking an individual that would be
responsible for: -Answering phones -Scheduling appointments
-Handling pre-authorizations -Registering patients -Scanning
results -Insurance verification Qualifications: -1-2 years of
healthcare receptionist / patient service associate experience at a
clinical practice -Internal medicine -Experience with medical
documents - EMR system is a plus -Experience speaking with patients
and insurance companies -Insurance verification -Setting up
appointments -Setting up lab tests -Checking in patients
Hours/Shift Mon – Fri 40-hour work week Three shifts available:
8am-4pm, 9am-5pm- 10am-6pm Pay $20-24 hr. based off experience If

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out
of Smithtown, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position
is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some
benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of
employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to
