Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced candidate with the passion for training, teaching and coaching to join our CNC Turning/Lathe Team. The right candidate will assist us in training up our staff and help us to implement an apprentice program onsite. Must also be willing to set-up and run machines. Must be able to demonstrate Turning/Lathe skills with past demonstrated ability to teach and mentor others.
Responsibilities:
Train others to set-up and operate CNC Lathes (2-axis and multi-axis) (e.g. Eurotech, Hardinge, Wasino, Okuma, etc.)
Train others to understand how to work with blueprints, operation sheets, and other work instructions
Ability to set-up and operate machines independently as well.
Requirements:
Will work with blueprints, operation sheets, and other work instructions.
3+ years of set-up experience minimum required
Demonstrated progression within machine operation
Experience with aerospace products and/or other close tolerance parts is a plus
Must be familiar with Fanuc and/or Okuma Controls
Must be able to set tools, change tools, edit programs
Must be able to use standard gauges and inspection techniques
Experience with SPC, inspection documentation, and problem solving is a plus
Programming experience is a plus
Physical Requirements:
The employee is required to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently
Stoop/bend/kneel/crouch/balance/climb on an occasional basis

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:15 AM - 12:45 AM
