Job Description Job Description Overview CDL Shuttle Driver Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour Job Type: Full-time & Part-time Location: New Haven, CT Union: UFCW 371 Shift & Schedule: Afternoon and Evenings, Weekends & Holiday Must Have: CDL, 3 Years Drivers Experience Applications will be accepted until job is closed. Propark Mobility is currently hiring Shuttle Drivers for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately. What we're looking for:* Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility. Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations. Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms. Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise. Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions. Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems. Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor. You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years. You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed. Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
