Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system known for its

looking for a Clinical Nurse II to join our C4/C3W Infectious
Disease/Secure Unit. In this crucial role, you will be pivotal in
managing and providing care to patients with infectious diseases in
a highly secure and controlled environment. The ideal candidate
will have a passion for healthcare and a dedication to patient
safety and recovery. This role requires a high level of competency
in clinical skills, infection control, and the ability to work in
intense situations. Our center fosters a culture of continuous

commitment to excellence and innovation in patient care. Provide
direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients within the C4/C3W
units. Apply advanced clinical skills in managing infectious
diseases under stringent safety protocols. Coordinate with
multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient treatment and
recovery plans. Participate in research and development activities
to advance care methodologies for infectious diseases. Maintain
meticulous documentation of patient care and infection control
measures. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention
and health management. Compliance with all hospital, state, and
federal privacy and safety regulations within the secure unit.

IT systems Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred
