Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare institution, is
seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II for our South Clinical
Campus. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional patient care
by integrating educational pursuits with applied nursing skills in
a high-activity unit. The successful candidate will be deeply
involved in direct patient care, treatment plans adjustment, and
interdisciplinary team collaboration, ensuring each patient
receives the highest standard of medical care. Administer
medications and treatments to patients and monitor responses.
Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement,
and evaluate patient care plans. Record patient medical histories
and symptoms, creating detailed reports. Educate patients and their
families on management of illnesses and injuries. Ensure compliance
with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Assist in the
operation of medical equipment and assist with patient
examinations. Strong clinical skills and familiarity with hospital
environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Proficient in
electronic health record (EHR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certified. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
