Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant experience required License: NJ or Compact state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - ECMO experience - Open heart experience Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The position requires floating to ICU and IMC as needed. Candidates must possess strong critical care skills and knowledge. Responsibilities include the care of patients on ECMO and the management of dysrhythmias. The nurse will administer and monitor various cardiac interventions and medications. Experience with advanced cardiovascular technologies and post-operative care is essential. Candidates will need to pass a mandatory EKG exam during orientation. Knowledge of infection prevention and maintaining safety protocols is required. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is integral to the position. Candidates must be able to manage a range of patient diagnoses in a high-acuity setting. This role involves the administration of blood products and titration of cardiac drips.
