Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is
available for a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified
Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students
during the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Seaford, Delaware.
This contract position focuses on delivering specialized
occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of school-aged
children over the summer months. Key responsibilities include:
Providing direct occupational therapy interventions for students
from kindergarten through 12th grade Collaborating with special
education teams to implement individualized treatment plans
Documenting student progress and adjusting therapy strategies
accordingly Attending the staff set-up day on June 29th to prepare
for program commencement Delivering approximately 30 hours of
therapy services per week during the ESY session, running from June
29th through July 23rd Qualifications and experience: Valid
licensure or certification as an OT or COTA Experience working
within a school-based setting preferred Ability to engage and
motivate students of varying ages and abilities Strong
communication and organizational skills to effectively coordinate
