Job Opportunity – Pediatric Registered Nurse – Massachusetts Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Western Massachusetts Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment, every other weekend and holidays as needed Highlights: Small, close-knit 3-bed pediatric unit in a community hospital setting 1:3 patient ratio with family-centered care model featuring rooming-in accommodations Meditech Expanse EMR system (experience strongly preferred) 8-hour non-billable orientation provided Supportive backup from Family Birthplace staff, respiratory therapists, and IV therapy team Overtime and holiday pay at 1.25x multiplier Requirements: Active Massachusetts RN license Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 3 years of recent pediatric nursing experience (required) Adult Medical-Surgical experience for float coverage (preferred) BSN preferred Current skills checklists for Pediatrics and Medical-Surgical (within 1 year) Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) required Must reside more than 50 miles from facility Reliable transportation required Excellent attendance record and dependability essential Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a small community hospital environment where you'll care for children and adolescents with the support of their families.
