Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system known for its

comprehensive patient care, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse
II for our Coronary Care Unit (CCU). This role requires a
compassionate professional who thrives in a dynamic,
patient-focused environment and is committed to following high
standards of nursing practices. As an integral member of our
healthcare team, you will manage critical care responsibilities and
enhance patient outcomes while working collaboratively with a team
of skilled healthcare professionals. Provide direct and
comprehensive nursing care to patients in the coronary care unit.
Monitor patient health and progress post-coronary incidents, and
provide appropriate interventions. Educate patients and their
families on heart health, post-procedural care, and lifestyle
modifications. Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and
other healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored
care plans. Administer medications and maintain detailed records of
patient treatment plans and progress. Participate in continuous
education and training sessions to stay updated with the latest in
critical care and coronary health treatments. Strong clinical
skills in coronary care and critical condition management.
Exceptional ability to communicate and educate effectively with
patients, staff, and families. Proficiency in using medical
equipment and software related to critical care. Ability to remain
composed and efficient in high-pressure situations. Medical
Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
employment. Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
preferred. CCRN (Certification for Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal
Critical Care Nurses) certification advantageous.
