Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system, is seeking a
Clinical Nurse II for our C8 Cardiac Services Unit. This role is
pivotal in delivering exceptional care to patients with various
cardiac conditions. As part of our dynamic team, you will work in

and biomedical research are integrated. The successful candidate
will be adept at managing complex patient situations and dedicated
to advancing their nursing practice through continual learning and
professional development. Provide comprehensive nursing care to
cardiac patients in a hospital setting. Assess patient conditions
and develop suitable nursing care plans. Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient recovery
and adjust care plans as necessary. Educate patients and their
families on disease management and health maintenance. Collaborate
with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient
care delivery. Maintain accurate patient records and prepare
reports on patients' status. Comply with all hospital and safety
standards. Proficient in cardiac care nursing practices. Strong
clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in emergency
situations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in using healthcare software and patient management
systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice in the
state of New York. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
