This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional nursing care to patients with complex neurological conditions in a progressive care environment. You will be part of a dynamic healthcare team that thrives on excellence in patient care, education, and research developing individualized treatment plans and managing patient outcomes through comprehensive, compassionate care. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with neurological issues in the progressive care unit. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-specific care plans. Monitor and ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery. Educate patients and their families about disease processes, treatment, and self-care skills. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Administer medications and interventions as prescribed and monitor responses. Stay informed on the latest in neuro care and progressive care practices. Strong clinical skills with a focus on neurology and progressive patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in managing multiple patients simultaneously in a high-stress environment. Capability to work effectively in both autonomous and team-based roles. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice. CPR/BLS certification. Preferably a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) or Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN).
