Job Description:
Albany Medical Center is currently seeking a highly skilled and
compassionate Clinical Nurse III for our C2 unit, specializing in
advanced patient care and clinical expertise in a dynamic hospital
setting. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional care while
also facilitating the education of junior nurses and contributing
to our ongoing research initiatives. Successful candidates will
demonstrate a strong commitment to patient health, outstanding
communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex
clinical situations. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care
to patients within the C2 unit. Lead and coordinate the care team
in planning and implementing complex patient care plans. Mentor and
train junior nursing staff to ensure progressive clinical
competencies. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to review and
improve existing care protocols and outcomes. Document patient care
services by charting in patient and department records. Engage in
continual learning and professional development activities to
maintain and enhance clinical practice. Advanced clinical skills in
a specialized health area Strong leadership and team coordination
abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Capability to handle high-stress environments Proficient in using
medical software and patient management systems Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the state of practice Certification in Basic Life
Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred:
Specialty certification relevant to the care unit (e.g., CCRN,
PCCN)
