Job Description Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Hackensack, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, on call, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Specialty: Radiologic Technologist I Units/Areas: Emergency Room, Trauma, OR, Pediatrics, 2 year minimum required Required License: New Jersey State License Required Certifications: ARRT(R) or eligible (National Registry), BLS (AHA) Required Skills: Trauma Radiography, OR Imaging (C-Arm), Portable X-Ray, Pediatric Imaging, Contrast Media Preparation, Administrative/Scheduling, Patient Transport/Lifting Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology Schedule: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM; Every 3rd Weekend; Holidays as needed; On Call required; 13-week contract Setting, Bed count, Trauma Level: Acute Care Facility / Trauma Center Equipment, Duties, Procedures: Perform diagnostic radiographic exams independently; restrict radiation beam via collimation; process x-ray films; assist physicians with radiopaque mixtures; patient positioning and immobilization; selection of technical factors Short Description: Rad Tech I for high-volume acute care setting. Must work independently in ER/Trauma. Shifts are mid-day to evening with call and holiday rotation. 2 years acute care experience required.
