Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our
dynamic team. In this role, you will provide expert therapy to
patients with speech, language, swallowing, cognitive and voice
disorders. As part of our network, which includes inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies, youll have the
opportunity to work both in facility-based settings and in the
comfort of patients homes. This position offers a unique blend of
clinical environments to enhance your skills and improve patient
outcomes. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and
cognitive-communication disorders. Develop and implement
individualized care plans based on each patient’s needs. Educate
patients and family members about communication strategies and
techniques to cope with speech and language impediments.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive
treatment. Record, maintain, and update patient records accurately
and in a timely manner. Participate in ongoing education and
professional development to stay current with the latest practices
and technologies. Strong understanding of various speech disorders
and treatment options. Excellent patient interaction skills with
the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively.
Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment and technology. Ability
to craft and implement effective care plans. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASHA Certificate of Clinical
Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Valid state
license to practice as a Speech Pathologist.
