Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Progressive Care setting License: Active RN License in New York Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience with Mechanical Ventilation, Trach Care, BiPAP, High Flow Oxygen - Familiarity with various medication drips including Cardene, Presidex, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Hypertonic Saline - Ability to float between different units as needed - Experience with Cerner Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care. The shift is overnight, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The nurse will care for patients requiring respiratory support and monitoring. Responsibilities include managing ventilators, trach care, and administering medication drips. The nurse will have a patient load ratio that varies from 1:3 to 1:6. Candidates must have a valid New York RN License and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
