This is a community health center role, and only outpatient. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations. Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome to apply. Required Qualifications Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree Current NY state medical license Completed an accredited residency program Current DEA certificate Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine Current CPR certification Responsibilities Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy Serve as a supervisor for nursing and mid-level provider staff About Provider Healthcare Provider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
