Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Care Manager for a
travel nursing job in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Job Description &
Requirements Specialty: Care Manager Discipline: RN Start Date:
07/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours,
days Employment Type: Travel Position: Registered Nurse – Case
Manager Location: Cambridge, MA Duration: 13 weeks ? Shift: Days –
40 hours/week, typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Occasional
weekend coverage may be required ? Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Restrictions: No local candidates Cannot have worked (perm or
travel) at any Beth Israel facility in the past 6 months COVID
vaccine booster required at time of submission (no declinations
accepted) Licensure & Requirements: Active Massachusetts RN license
– required at submission Bachelor’s degree preferred 3 years of
med/surg nursing experience 2 years of case management or
utilization management experience required Epic experience
preferred Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong verbal
communication, organizational, and independent problem-solving
skills Basic computer and typing proficiency Must demonstrate
conflict resolution and discharge planning competency Primary
Responsibilities: Conduct utilization review and discharge planning
for inpatients Apply InterQual criteria for appropriate
level-of-care determination Collaborate with medical staff
regarding care alternatives Coordinate discharge plans with nursing
and social work Manage observation status patients and support
post-hospital care planning Report non-acute care days and support
insurance/regulatory compliance Participate in Saturday, holiday,
