Job Description:

We are hiring for a full time knowledgable dentist who can provide a range of services to our patients. We are a comprehensive, family oriented dental practice in 3 locations in the Hartford area and are looking for an associate who shares our values and morals to always do what is best for the patients. The dentist will meet with patients, assess their dental health and perform complex dental procedures such as root canals, extractions and restorative work. The dentist will collaborate with other staff to provide top notch dental care. We are looking for applicants who are caring, communicative and confident in diagnosing and treating dental ailments. Responsibilities include: -Meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns and emphasizing oral hygiene- explaining thoroughly so patient understands their options for treatment -Performing and willingness to learn dental procedures such as extractions, root canals, restorative dentistry, fixed and removable partials and implants -Correcting bite issues and crowding -Prescribing medications for dental problems: antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, pain medications -Delivery of local anesthesia -Ordering diagnostic measures such as x-rays and models -Managing and communicating with other staff members to provide care to patients. Dentist Requirements: -DDS or DMD -State of CT license -3 years experience preferred but not required -Willingness to comply with all local, state and federal laws regarding dental and health care -Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, excellent note/record taking -Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools and diagnostics -Good management capabilities We have 3 offices in the Hartford area(East Hartford, Hartford and Berlin)- locations are flexible.
