Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental and industrial services throughout North America, is seeking a seasoned Senior Asset Manager to oversee our automotive asset management portfolio. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimality and sustainability of our equipment and vehicles used across various services including hazardous waste disposal and emergency spill response. The ideal candidate will facilitate the life cycle management of our automotive assets, from acquisition through disposal, to maximize value and compliance while supporting environmental protection initiatives. Develop and implement strategies for asset management tailored to automotive equipment and vehicles. Perform analyses on asset utilization and lifecycle to inform procurement and retirement decisions. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement schedules of all automotive equipment to ensure operational reliability and efficiency. Coordinate with various departments including finance, operations, and maintenance to align asset management strategies with company goals. Manage budgeting and forecasting for asset acquisition and maintenance. Ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations in all aspects of asset management. Report on asset performance metrics, suggesting and implementing improvements to enhance sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Lead a team of asset management professionals, providing guidance and expertise in automotive asset best practices. Expertise in asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Proficiency in using asset management software and systems. Strong analytical skills to oversee and improve asset utilization and performance. Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing teams and interfacing with other departments. Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards within the automotive industry. Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
