As part of the Digital Factory team, the Digital Factory Solutions Manager, will be responsible for enterprise-wide factory 4.0/IIOT solution design and implementation of industry solutions.

Specifically, this position will be highly involved in the rollout of the architecture stack for Enterprise Statistical Process Control (SPC) system and future Industry 4.0 solutions. Strong project management skillset along with a demonstrated technical background is required for the person to be successful in this role.

The successful individual will work directly with the business in understanding, challenging, and articulating the business problem to solve, how best to leverage existing technology and where needed work with our vendor partners for implementation of new technologies while operating as the PM and Solution SME.

You will be required to leverage and align with DT, customers, and industry leaders to identify future IIOT opportunities. Work with IIOT enabling platforms and tools such as Apriso, Ignition, and MES 2.0 technologies to enable enterprise visibility and operational analytics. Participate in the strategy and tactical deployment of future optimization opportunities across the supply-base and manufacturing sites.

The position will enable substantial growth opportunities in the areas of digital solutions, technology advancement, driving revenue improvements for P&W and execution visibility across the enterprise.

Key participant in the Global Digital Factory council and driving discussions with the roadmaps and projects in alignment with the DF Steering Council including participating and presenting in executive updates and reviews.

Execute on the key Connected Factory roadmap projects.

Capability lead for the development and deployment of the technology stack for enterprise Statistical Process Control (SPC) System and MRL Project Management System

Partner with SPC, Connected Factory, Core ME and Mod Center ME teams to establish roadmaps and reference architectures.

This is a Remote role.

Occasional travel to our East Harford location: 400 Main Street, East Hartford, CT would be required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Partnering with the business to evaluate technologies and build reference architecture & roadmaps.

* Technical project management of major ongoing and future initiatives.

* Leading the solution deployment activities across PW worldwide sites.

* Design & development of proof-of-concept functional solutions related to Digital Factory including mobile solutions, evaluation of industry tools and best in class industry digital trends and practices.

* Participation in communications events with both technical and non-technical audiences.


Basic Qualifications:

* BS Degree in related field preferred and minimum of 10+ years of prior relevant work experience OR an advanced degree with 7+ years of relevant work experience.

* US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

* Minimum of 3+ years of programming experience in one or more coding languages.

* 2+ years of Industry 4.0 projects, use cases, OPC and machine communications.

* Previous work experience in an SAP centric environment.

Preferred Qualification:

* Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 8+ years of prior work experience.

* Strong business requirements gathering skills.

* Strong Project Management skills.

* Proven written/verbal and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels.

* Structure and Organized with a detail-oriented, analytical and problem-solving capability.

* Ability to interpret high level business requirements, and liaise between business customers, technology teams and support teams.

* Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced environment, able to adapt to changing business needs.

* Team oriented, with a strong work ethic and versatility are a plus.

* Strong technical suite and desire to evaluate and implement IIOT technologies.

* Knowledge of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT).

* Emerging technology identification, assessment & adoption.

* Solution architecture design.

* Desire to learn & apply enterprise analytics and machine learning.

* Broad collaboration across Digital Technologies (DT), PW Manufacturing and Aftermarket shops world-wide.

* Familiarity with Inductive Automation's Ignition software, Apriso Manufacturing Operations Management software from Dassault and Kepware Software.
