What is my role type?
In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also
transforming how and where we work. We've introduced role types to
help you understand how you will operate in our blended work
environment. This role is:
* Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work
regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities
of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status
throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles,
commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal
responsibility.
As a key supporting role in Pratt & Whitney's Mature Commercial
Engines (MCE) organization, the Manager, Aftermarket Material
Readiness will lead efforts to drive material performance for
commercial aftermarket customers including Airlines and the
Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) network.
In this highly engaged role, you will be pursuing spare material
readiness for our aftermarket customers. This will be achieved by
driving new processes and solutions to identify and resolve
emerging new material challenges prior to customer impact. It will
be a broadly engaged with cross-functional groups such as
Operations, Demand Planning, Customer Solutions, Programs,
Industrial, Aftermarket Ops, CAIPT engineering, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop near and long term projections to identify spare material
gaps before they occur.
* Integrate with various stakeholders to identify root cause of
early risk conditions, and drive corrective actions to prevent
customer material risks.
* Drive and support adoption of new material early warning
processes and tools, including data aggregation and analysis.
* Coordinate with operations to develop recovery plans for early
risk spare materials.
* Support ad-hoc analysis requests and to presentation
management.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering major
with 8+ years experience in Operational, Supply Chain, Material
Analyst or Procurement experience; OR
* Master's Degree in similar field with 5+ years of relevant
experience
* US Citizenship is required due to government contracts
Preferred Qualifications:
* Project Management and Data Analytics experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as excel and power
point.
* MS Access experience preferred
* Comfortable with use of and able to learn new computer software
and/or applications

Minimum Program Qualifications
To qualify for the Raytheon Technologies Re-Empower Program,
