work.(sm)At Optum, our Transparent Network Product team is focused
on delivering solutions that resolve problems for both Payers and
Providers. This Product Director role will be focused on defining
and leading product vision, strategy, and execution for EDI
transaction delivery between healthcare providers and OptumCare
Care Delivery Organizations (CDO) as part of an EDI Managed Gateway
initiative. -In this role, you must be able to effectively manage
the evaluation and communication of complex EDI concepts between
CDO's and the teams needed to drive execution and delivery of both
new product work and enhancements to the existing product. -This
role needs to be able to manage and communicate with management and
co-workers, both verbally and in writing. You must balance a
self-motivated, independent work ethic with the desire to educate
and assist others. Organization, prioritization, attention to
detail and the ability to work under pressure are all crucial.

as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Defines, manages, and communicates the Product strategy and
roadmap
- Collaborates with cross functional partners to define new
connectivity and alignment of EDI transactions delivery between
OptumCare Care Delivery Organizations and the dedicated gateway

- Seeks feedback from clients to identify new opportunities and
make adjustments to the current product offerings
- Responsible for the full product lifecycle management,
including: strategy, design, development, management and end of
life of new, existing or acquisition products
- Accountable for delivering product performance against
expectations and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve
competitive position, and optimal product performance to meet
customer and market needs
- Accountable to and/or own the Product P&L
- Partner with internal or external stakeholders (key customers,
product partnerships, etc.) to define and drive future product

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with EDI with an emphasis on claims
responsible for defining detailed requirements, working with
trading partners and delivering on commitments
- 5+ years of experience managing product strategy or delivery
teams, responsible for managing or delivering products with
commercial accountability
- 5+ years of deep healthcare data knowledge and
understanding
- 5+ years of experience interfacing with business leaders and
strategic partners to develop strategic business plans and
roadmaps
- 3+ years of experience with market sizing, financial modeling,
business case development, championing alignment, and securing
funding
- 5+ years of experience leading and influencing cross-matrixed
team members and stakeholders, and delivering quantifiable results
with large-scale, cross-functional teams
- 25% travel -

- Experience bringing a new product to market
- Experience with Change Management
- Experience preparing and presenting value cases and strategic
frameworks
- Knowledge of the Payer and / or Provider market
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills

is $113,500 to $218,100. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada
residents is $113,500 to $218,100. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
