Just look up.Are you ready to go beyond?We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Full Stack Software Developer to join our team (REMOTE). You will have the opportunity to directly impact the next generation of P digital products and services.Reporting within the Digital Product Management organization, this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the solution architecture and technical components of our estimate at complete (EAC) automation tools and (future) campaign automation tools.They will assume technical duties including development, documentation, and configuration of underlying technologies. The selected individual will work with other stakeholders for providing guidance and implementing solutions powering the use of these systems within the company.This role will work with and across the P Digital Technology organization and the relevant P business organizations to develop, refine, and optimize the software and solutions architecture deliverables with the goal of boosting productivity and transforming the customer experience.Key Responsibilities:Lead software development tasks for software solutions planning, building, and deploying critical functionality working in a cross functional team utilizing agile software development methodology.Implement complex development and software configuration tasks requested of the team.Lead implementation and support of migration of backend existing code base to cloud native services (AWS).Provide guidance, problem solving and peer programming support for the rest of the development resources on the team (Front End, Back End, Middleware).Constantly monitor and continuously improve management of codebase and code itself to meet software development standards agreed upon by the team.Develop a deep knowledge of the data sources feeding the data platform today and build relationship with the data owners/stewards to understand the business context of the data sets that are being utilized in our applications today.Implement API and connectivity solutions across digital products.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 8+ years' experience or master's degree with 5+ years' experience in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.2+ years' experience with AngularUnderstanding of software development/engineering lifecycle from conception to delivery.US citizenship required due to government contract.Preferred Qualifications:4+ years of full stack engineering / development experience.Although the candidate will participate in all areas of software development, we prefer that they have a desire to focus on user interface development.Experience with: Javascript, Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Rest API.Experience with DevOps tools (example: Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, Github).Experience with application scalability and performance testing.Agile trained and/or certified with a full understanding of Agile software development life cycle.Possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with the team as an "active listener" and then execute results.Familiarity with ACE or similar Total Quality Management tools and metrics.Understanding of aerospace commercial aftermarket business and operations.
