1st Shift The Electro-Mechanical Assembler position in Billerica,
MA offers a unique opportunity to work on complex capital equipment
that plays a crucial role in security and safety. This role is
ideal for candidates with experience in large capital equipment or
industrial assembly. Shift of the Electro-Mechanical Assembler: 1st
Shift: 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM (can start as late as 7 AM) Pay Rate of
the Electro-Mechanical Assembler: $25/hr-30/hr depending on
experience Responsibilities of the Electro-Mechanical Assembler:
Perform a wide range of electromechanical assembly with
demonstrated skill in cabling systems, connecting, and torquing
large and small assemblies. Utilize a strong mechanical and
electrical background along with general hand tools. Conduct
assembly operations including drilling, reaming, burnishing, and
tapping. Execute crimping and pull testing of crimps. Maintain
productivity and proactively move between job assignments without
specific direction. Qualifications of the Electro-Mechanical
Assembler: Understanding of 5S principles and personal
accountability for workspace and tooling. Willingness to work
outside in non-ideal conditions while upholding quality and safety
principles. Ability to check BOMs, manage inventory, and complete
accurate, timely paperwork. Capability to transition easily between
product lines with minimal training. Knowledge of bills of
materials (BOM) structure and ability to read and interpret
