position is within Pratt & Whitney's Connecticut based Global
Supply Chain Machine and Fabrications product center. The
manufacturing engineer will support part manufacturing in our
supplier base as we ramp production on our Geared Turbo Fan and
F135 engine programs along with delivering spare parts for our
legacy military and commercial engines. This position is for an
experienced engineer to provide guidance and expertise at our
various suppliers producing the various Hot/Cold Section Module
Suppliers. What You Will Do: \n Support suppliers various
manufacturing processing and methods required to manufacture
complex jet engine parts. \n Supporting suppliers with
manufacturing methods and processes necessary for machining, sheet
metal, forming, forging and processing on complex engine parts. \n
Provide manufacturing producibility input to designs and part
family process standards \n Identifying and addressing long term
recommendations that will lead to a reduction in throughput times
and increase quality. \n Evaluate supplier manufacturing readiness
and proactively support and resolve readiness issues \n Identify &
implement supplier process improvements that increase output and
reduce overall costs, including automation and robotics• Review
process yields and rates, and make suggestions for improvement \n
Participate on manufacturing reviews, transitions, new product
introduction reviews, and manufacturing standard work improvements
\n Provide manufacturing process options, propose trade studies,
evaluate manufacturing process maturity \n Evaluate tooling,
special test and inspections concepts and equipment \n Participate
in lean manufacturing initiatives that support continuous process
improvement \n Provide urgent manufacturing support for critical
supply issues and troubleshooting quality issues and assist
suppliers with root cause and corrective actions. \n Have a working
knowledge of improving manufacturing processes with utilizing
manufacturing readiness level (MRL) tools such as PFMEA, Process
Control Plan, Yield Curve, etc. \n Up to 30% travel (domestic and
international) \n \n Qualifications You Must Have: \n Bachelor's
degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering,
Aerospace Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience;
or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience. \n The ability to

environment. This role is: Onsite: Employees who are working in
Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all
production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the
development of our engines. As part of our commitment to

our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated
as on-site, hybrid or remote. The salary range for this role is
82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith
estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers
several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited
to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a
candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key

these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a

candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay
structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application
