Opportunity:
Parsons is seeking an Associate Bridge Engineer to join our rapidly
expanding Bridge group in Boston, MA & East Hartford, CT. If you
want to be part of a dynamic and innovative team working on large
projects that change the urban fabric of communities, this
opportunity is for you. We are looking for candidates with the
ability to work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment
that have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational
skills. We design and build Arch Bridges, Beam Bridges, Cantilever
Bridges, Suspension Bridge, Cable-Stayed Bridges, Tied-Arch
Bridges, and Truss Bridges.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings,
specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and
construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.
Prepares standard engineering computations, material quantity
takeoffs, estimates, survey coordination and structural
designs.
Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, assists in reviewing
supplier drawing submittals and technical bid analyses
Assists in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data
sheets, and other construction documents
Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, and
Designers
Coordinate with other Engineers working on the same project.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as
may be appropriate e.g., performs site visits and inspections, and
prepares inspection reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
4-year degree in Civil Engineering (with Structure/ Bridge
Engineering focused).
0-3 years of related work experience with bridges and
infrastructures.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred.
Experience with steel, concrete structures design is desirable.
Modeling and analysis experience with SAP2000, STADD-Pro, Merlin
Dash or similar other software programs, is a plus.
Familiarity with AutoCAD/ Microstation software, is required.

Salary Range:
$23.27 - $40.72
