Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated
testing software; developing automated testing tools and test
suites for verifying MathWorks state-of-the-art solutions in deep
learning deployment, HDL code generation and hardware-software
codesign; testing state-of-the-art MathWorks solutions in deep
learning deployment and HDL code generation; participating in
design reviews and code reviews; creating test plans and test
procedures for new product features; implementing test tools and
tests using xUnit based test automation frameworks; interfacing
generated HDL with third party IDEs, Simulators and Synthesis tools
to verify accuracy on hardware and enforcing performance
constraints; participating in software development projects from
the early design stages and playing a critical role in driving to
final product release; and working closely with development and
documentation teams as well as customer facing groups. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and no experience. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in
job offered or five (5) years of experience in development or
testing of hardware description language software. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB and C/C++; and
writing MATLAB algorithms. Demonstrated expertise in development or automated test
development for code generation. Demonstrated expertise writing or testing hardware description
languages -- VHDL and Verilog; optimizing HDL code; and interfacing
generated HDL code with third party IDEs, Simulators and Synthesis
Tools -- Xilinx Vivado and Intel Quartus. Demonstrated expertise using an FPGA accelerator to optimize
