Job Description:

Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for designing, developing and testing sophisticated software; developing, implementing and testing algorithms and interfaces using MATLAB and C++ on Windows, Linux and Macintosh platforms; designing and implementing state-of-the-art image processing algorithms for products based on MATLAB; gathering user requirements, writing functional specifications, and participating in design reviews; assessing research literature to identify useful algorithms; designing MATLAB interfaces; and collaborating with other developers, quality engineers, usability specialists and writers.

Education and Experience:

Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science and no experience.

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience in development or technical support of image processing or computer vision applications and systems.

Special Requirements:

Demonstrated expertise writing object-oriented C++ code for software design; and implementing MATLAB and C++ algorithms for image processing and computer vision on Windows, Linux and Mac platforms.

Demonstrated expertise writing, compiling, and debugging C-MEX files to interface MATLAB code with C and C++.

Demonstrated expertise in development, testing, and technical support for image processing and computer vision applications using MATLAB or OpenCV imaging libraries and performance libraries -- Intel Threading Building Blocks (TBB) or OpenMP.

Demonstrated expertise developing high performance 3D volume image analysis algorithms using MATLAB and C++.
