Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity seeks experienced Special Education
Teachers to support K-12 students in a school setting located in
Danbury, CT. This is a contract assignment running from ASAP
through May 22, 2026, with 30 to 32.5 hours per week onsite. Three
positions are available to fill the following roles: Elementary
Resource, Elementary Self-Contained, and Middle School Resource.
Qualifications: - Connecticut state licensure as a Special
Education Teacher is required - Experience working with diverse
student needs within resource and self-contained settings - Strong
understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and
special education best practices - Commitment to fostering
inclusive learning environments for K-12 students Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' individual
learning goals - Collaborate with general education teachers,
families, and support staff to ensure student success - Monitor and
document student progress regularly - Utilize evidence-based
strategies to accommodate different learning abilities and styles
