Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist position is available within an
elementary school setting, located in Poughkeepsie, NY. This
contract role is designed to provide essential support during a
maternity leave absence, with a start date as soon as possible and
an anticipated end date pending, with strong potential for
extension beyond the summer months. Key responsibilities include
delivering high-quality speech-language services to students,
implementing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with
educators and staff, and maintaining accurate documentation
according to school and state requirements. The role requires
flexibility to cover two primary locations: 27 therapy sessions in
Latham, NY, and maternity leave coverage in Pine Plains, NY.
Qualifications and desired experience: Valid New York State
Speech-Language Pathology license (required) Certification of
Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
Experience working as an SLP within school settings with
elementary-aged children Ability to manage caseloads efficiently
and adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs Strong
communication and collaboration skills for working with school
teams and families Willingness to work full time across multiple
locations during the contract period This contract opportunity
offers a meaningful way to impact students communicative
development while gaining valuable experience in school-based
therapy services. Due to the nature of the assignment, candidates
