to connect, relax, and stay active. Set on an 11-acre campus along
the Long Island Sound, the Club features a classic clubhouse,
marina, swimming pool complex, tennis courts, landscaped lawns, and
gathering spaces that host a full calendar of recreational and
social programming for members of all ages. The Club’s grounds and
facilities are central to the member experience. From manicured

year. Position Summary Larchmont Yacht Club is seeking an
experienced, hands-on Supervisor of Facilities & Grounds to oversee
the daily care and continued enhancement of our 11-acre waterfront
property. This year-round, full-time hourly leadership role reports
directly to the Director of Facilities & Grounds and plays a key
part in maintaining the high standards our members expect. The
Supervisor ensures that the Club’s buildings, grounds, and
recreational facilities remain safe, attractive, and fully
operational. This position combines leadership, technical
expertise, and day- to-day operational oversight. It is ideal for a
motivated professional who enjoys working both in the field and
alongside a team. Candidates from facilities management, property
operations, hospitality, municipal services, private clubs,
resorts, educational campuses, healthcare facilities, construction
trades, or related environments are encouraged to apply. Strong
transferable leadership and technical skills are highly valued. Key
Responsibilities Team Leadership and Daily Operations Supervise the
day-to-day work of the facilities and grounds team in coordination
with the Director of Facilities & Grounds. Provide direction,
training, and performance feedback to build a dependable and
skilled team. Promote a culture of safety, accountability,
teamwork, and pride in the appearance of the property. Assist with
scheduling, task delegation, and workflow planning to ensure
consistent coverage and responsiveness. Facilities and Grounds
Oversight Oversee and participate in the maintenance of the
clubhouse, administrative offices, pool, tennis courts, parking
areas, gates, docks, and landscaped grounds. Troubleshoot and
address issues involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting,
irrigation, and general mechanical systems. Conduct routine
inspections and walk-throughs to proactively identify maintenance
needs. Respond promptly to work orders and operational requests.
Ensure pool systems and related facilities comply with all health
and safety regulations. Project Coordination and Preventive
Maintenance Support implementation of the annual maintenance plan
and capital improvement initiatives. Maintain preventive
maintenance schedules to protect assets and extend equipment life.
Coordinate contractors, obtain competitive bids, and monitor vendor
performance. Assist with seasonal transitions and property
enhancement projects that improve the overall member experience.
Compliance and Administration Maintain compliance with local,
state, and federal safety, health, and fire codes. Keep accurate
records of inspections, repairs, and work orders. Assist with
purchasing, inventory management, and supply control. Provide
regular operational updates and recommendations to the Director of
Facilities & Grounds. Qualifications Qualifications Experience 3 to
5 years of progressive experience in facilities, property
maintenance, building operations, engineering, landscaping, or
related fields. Prior supervisory or team lead experience required.
Experience in hospitality, private clubs, residential communities,
construction trades, educational institutions, healthcare
facilities, or municipal environments is highly transferable and
valued. Technical Skills Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing,
electrical, mechanical, and general building systems. Experience
with preventive maintenance programs and work order systems.
Familiarity with grounds care and irrigation systems preferred.
Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
Certifications HVAC Certification preferred. Certified Pool
Operator certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Core

Requirements & Work Environment Ability to stand and walk for
extended periods. Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform
physically active work. Comfortable working outdoors in varying
weather conditions and around mechanical systems, equipment, and
chemicals. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends during peak
