recruit a motivated Senior Staff Accountant with a strong grasp of
GAAP and hands-on experience supporting mission-driven accounting
operations. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting

Flexible Hybrid Schedule: Mix of in-office collaboration and remote
flexibility Compensation: $75,000–$95,000 annually, based on
experience Key Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant:
Support day-to-day accounting operations across multiple programs
and funding sources Maintain the general ledger in accordance with
GAAP and non-profit accounting standards Prepare journal entries,
account reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly financial statements
Assist with fund accounting, restricted/unrestricted funds
tracking, and grant reporting Support budgeting, forecasting, and
variance analysis for departments and programs Ensure compliance
with federal, state, and local reporting requirements Assist with
audits, reviews, and compliance reporting Partner with program
managers and leadership to monitor budgets, expenses, and funding
utilization Prepare financial reports for internal leadership and
external stakeholders (boards, funders, auditors) Qualifications of
the Senior Staff Accountant: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
Finance, or a related field (required) 3–5 years of accounting
experience within non-profit, public accounting, or general
ledger-focused roles Strong working knowledge of GAAP Experience
with fund accounting, grants management, or multi-entity
environments is a plus Proficiency with accounting software
(QuickBooks or similar ERP systems) Strong reconciliation skills
with close attention to detail and documentation Clear,
