Job Description:
Job Summary: responsible for overseeing all aspects of the
company's tax function, including tax compliance, planning, and
reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of tax laws and
regulations, strong analytical and communication skills, and the
ability to lead and manage a team. Duties: Manage and oversee the
preparation and filing of all federal, state, and local tax
returns. Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and
regulations. Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
Maintain accurate and complete tax records and documentation.
Develop and implement tax policies and procedures. Develop and
implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize
tax savings. Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax
planning opportunities. Provide tax advice and guidance to
management and other stakeholders. Stay up-to-date on changes in
tax laws and regulations. Communicate tax-related information to
relevant parties. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting
or related field; CPA certification preferred. 5 years of
experience in tax accounting, with at least 2 years in a management
role. Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax laws and
regulations. Experience with tax compliance, planning, and
reporting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication
skills. Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft
Office Suite. Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP)
systems a plus. Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
