Job Description:
Title: Experienced Tax Professional Location: Wellesley, MA
(Onsite) Salary: $100,000–$130,000 Schedule: Full-time, Year-round
Start Date: Immediate About the Firm: We’re a boutique tax and
accounting firm based in Wellesley, MA, known for our
client-focused approach, tight-knit team, and strong local
presence. With a retiring team member, we’re looking to add an
experienced tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced,
relationship-driven environment. What You’ll Do: Prepare a variety
of tax returns (1040, 1041, 990, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 706) Provide
audit assistance and respond to IRS/state notices Maintain ongoing
communication with clients—own the process from start to finish
Assist with bookkeeping for select clients Accept payments, process
filings, and ensure accurate submission Collaborate with leadership
while maintaining independence in your work What We’re Looking For:
4 years of professional tax preparation experience CPA or Enrolled
Agent preferred Experience with Drake and Lacerte software
Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset
Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits: $100K–$130K base salary, depending on
experience Medical & dental insurance options Paid vacation, sick,
holiday, and personal time Busy season: 40–50 hours/week
Off-season: 32–40 hours/week Work Location: This is an on-site
