Job Description:
Accounting Manager (Hybrid) - Cambridge, MA Our client, a
company in the life sciences sector, is seeking an experienced
Accounting Manager for a hybrid role supporting general accounting,
financial reporting, and internal compliance. This individual will
play a key role in month-end close activities, technical accounting
analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with finance and
business teams. This is a high-visibility individual contributor
role involving journal entries, reconciliations, and variance
analysis, with some oversight of capital project tracking and time
reporting systems. Responsibilities: Lead monthly close tasks,
including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Analyze and explain SG&A variances and collaborate with
FP&A on actual vs. budget trends Support business partners with
vendor management and spend tracking Manage capital asset reporting
and support related projects and disposals Administer time tracking
systems, including compliance training and communications Prepare
regular fluctuation and variance analysis for reporting cycles
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 4
years of accounting experience; CPA strongly preferred Proficiency
with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) Beacon Hill is an equal
