Analyst (1 of 5) positions. These positions have a preferred
location in Danvers, MA, with consideration given to Raynham, MA.

POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking 5 highly skilled and motivated
individuals to join the Abiomed finance organization. They will
have exposure to senior leaders across the organization, supporting
them in delivering their financial commitments, while helping to
continue to grow the business and shape the standard of care in
heart recovery. --- Global Health Care Solutions and Commercial SFA
(2): High-level responsibilities include supporting financials for
all teams that report up through Global Healthcare Solutions and
Sales teams, leading processes to develop budgets and track actual
expenses, partnering closely with business partners and budget
owners to improve forecast accuracy and support business partners
in evaluating decisions through financial analysis, and supporting
the various forecasting cycles throughout the year. --- Production
SFA (1) : High-level responsibilities include analysis &
measurement of production labor & yield effectiveness; development
of Labor models for inventory valuation & standard costing and
support of Make organization in Danvers. --- Global Franchise
FP&A, Compliance & Special Projects SFA (1): High-level
responsibilities include providing compliance oversight and
effective risk management strategies and mitigation as required;
partnering cross-functionally to address current state and shape
future compliance requirements; leading continuous process
innovation and control improvements and supporting project-specific
initiatives for the global Abiomed team, focused on process and
technology improvement and financial compliance. --- Global
Franchise FP&A, Admin Functions and Intercompany SFA (1):
High-level responsibilities include partnering with the Global
Admin Functions (Finance, HR, IT, Other Admin), budget preparation,
reporting and analysis of actuals and forecast; preparing and
supporting value cases and investment decisions that arise; and
collaborating with business and finance partners across Abiomed and
J&J to lead and facilitate the accounting and analysis for
intercompany transactions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: --- Lead Monthly
and Quarterly Closing Processes for their respective area. ---
Continue to support broader integration activities, including the
global adoption and implementation of world-wide accounting
policies and procedures. --- Ensure SOX controls and GAAP
compliance standards are fully met for all processes. --- Partner
within the Abiomed Finance organization on reporting, consolidation
and forecast cycles. --- Identify and implement process
improvements and digital solutions to increase efficiency and play
a pro-active and value adding role in the shaping of their
respective department. --- Participation and adoption of various
Enterprise, MedTech and Abiomed Finance initiatives (e.g.,
Organizational Health Actions, SigniFi, process improvements, etc.)
--- Proactively take ownership for personal development, ensuring a
positive work life balance while managing stakeholders.
